Brinkworth's current work began with a curiosity in films, particularly those directed by or in the style of Hitchcock. She finds the use of camera angles and techniques intriguing specifically the use of 'point-of-view' shots and the varying areas of focus to bring to the attention of the viewer those areas of distinct importance to the scene or plot.
