Lidwine Titli is a Parisian-born visual artist living in London. Her collages are purely hand crafted with carefully chosen imagery that suggest beauty and grace which mutate into the surreal, cyberpunk and sometimes grotesque.
Titli’s art takes you to a void beyond your imagination and into the abstract realm of your subconscious. Her representation of human glamour anthropomorphs into a suggestive world of desire where the line between graceful and freakish is blurred. She portrays this idea through suggestive psychedelic symbolism merging out of human form and human desires.
Titli’s collages are more than just art. They are a mechanism of transmutation of the mundane to the transcendental.
