AURAXDR Born and raised in the streets of Brooklyn, NY where my work lives. Very often working on found objects and newsprint there is a desire for each work having a life of it's own. Newsprint just like people ages with time and creates an overall feeling of the work having its own life. Each portrait is created to give the viewer a personal sense of ''who'' they are seeing, and what is being said. This work came out of a very difficult time in my life when I was looking for work that had a common thread but also the freedom of abstract expression.
